OUR SOCIAL COMMITMENT

We believe that every company is under a duty to contribute to society progress and improvement.
And for our Rose Team, that’s not all – we believe in dreams and how important it is to play our part so that people can make them come true.
That’s why we’ve always been collaborating with several institutions and associations working in the social field, joining forces to achieve even unreachable-seeming goals.
We protect the weakest and contribute to area development
As a women-powered company, we are especially sensitive when considering issues related to women protection and childhood support.
Every year, we define a budget intended for projects we carefully select, while also respecting shared criteria, such as:
01
Reliability and establishment of beneficiary institutions
We only select institutions we know, or when we at least have the chance to verify them, analysing their statute and most recent financial report available.
02
rotation
There are many projects and associations, that’s why we interchanged our help and engagement for all the worthy ones.
03
project impact
Not only we carefully assess associations, but also their specific projects being proposed, giving value to the impact they can effectively generate.
04
area support
If every company took care of their surrounding social fabric, our whole country would benefit from that.
That’s why we allocate part of our yearly budget for territorial activities enabling to create human well-being.
Projects we’re currently supporting
Gruppo Polis (‘Polis Group’)
Gruppo Polis brings together 4 Paduan cooperatives that have been working for people in need since 1985.
Gruppo Polis’ area of action range from disability, through mental health, social exclusion, refugees, protected reception, social-work tutoring for women that fall victims of various forms of violence, social farming to the most recent medical group practice.
Casa Viola (‘Viola House’)
Casa Viola is a Gruppo Polis’ service, named after Franca Viola, who was the first Italian woman to refuse a shotgun marriage.
Casa Viola is active in Padua since 2008 and aims at helping women victims of domestic violence to rebuild their lives in a free and independent way.
This house is located at a secret and protected address. It can host up to 7 women simultaneously, together with their minor children.
I Bambini delle Fate (‘Fairies’ Children’)
I Bambini delle Fate is a social enterprise set up in 2005. The idea came from its President Franco Antonello, entrepreneur and Andrea’s father, an autistic child.
This organisation focuses on social communication and fundraising on a a regular and on-going basis. These funds are used to support tailor-made projects, in line with the most urgent needs of families dealing with autism and disability.
To this end, I Bambini delle Fate listens to the needs of such families, looks for regular donor groups, whether they are companies – through the Fare impresa nel Sociale (‘Doing business in the social field’) initiative – or individuals – through the Sporcatevi le Mani (‘Get your hands dirty’) initiative.
Lastly, through the Banca del Tempo Sociale (‘Social time bank’) campaign, aimed at high-school students, it engages young people who decide to spend some of their time with autistic young people on a voluntary basis.
LILT Padova (‘LILT Padua’)
Thanks to the engagement of several volunteers and professionals, LILT Padova is working to disseminate cancer prevention through educational activities, projects in the area and Spazi Prevenzione (‘Prevention centers’).
WelfareCare
In collaboration with municipalities and partners – and thanks to the presence of a mobile clinic that has been set up with ambulatory spaces equipped with cutting-edge technological tools – free mammograph and echograph screenings are carried out to early detect breast cancer in women aged 35-49.
WomenForFreedom
Being around for approximately 4 years, it started projects in India, Cameroon, Romania and Italy, helping so over 3000 women and their families through microcredit and self-generated income projects, aiming at offering the chance to reach financial independence.
CEFA
CEFA has been working for years to fight against hunger and poverty in Western Africa countries, especially in Mozambique, by implementing integrated development programmes with a supply chain approach.
Women’s empowerment for food safety
This project supports women’s empowerment in the province of Sofala, Mozambique, insisting on raising awareness among women, acknowledging their crucial role in sustainable and inclusive development in their country.
More specifically, it’s about nutrition education in the fields of milk benefits and food hygiene. Many women will learn good practice by attending cooking demos, too – to the benefit of all their families. In turn, they will be able to teach their young daughters all they’ve learnt.
